Highway 95 in Nevada is one of my favorite drives we get to take. A few days ago that is exactly where we found ourselves. This time it was a rare treat to get to see part of it in the daylight. Although my favorite time is during the night, it was nice to see more of the views that road offers. I love it at night because it is super peaceful with an eerie feel. Kind of mysterious and a smidge spooky if you let your mind wander and play! 😊 It is a two lane road that takes you past a handful of little towns out in the absolute middle of nowhere. It is a nice little escape from the major highways and traffic with a nice little reward at the end. There is a truck stop in Sparks, NV that is only a half a mile walk from the Sparks Marina, which is basically a little lake with a paved path all the way around, a beach area, fishing, kayaking, dog park, plenty of benches, grass and shade trees. There is also an outlet mall on the other side of the lake to get a shopping fix! I love this place!
