Well here we are…half way through our schooling. Maneuvers, maneuvers, and more maneuvers. Unbeatable seat time in three different tractors…Peterbuilt, Kenworth, and Volvo. We are still very happy and feeling blessed that this is the school we chose to attend! Maneuvers…backing with a trailer connected, straight, offset, and alley docking. The cones are fairing better which is a sign we (minus Whistle) are starting to master our backing skills. Whistle (Grant) is far above us all. He could probably do these blind. 😉
Nothing too exciting to write about. Repetition – pre-trip and maneuvers. Learning – what it’s like learning again without being able to have a tantrum. It’s challenging! (the no tantrum part).
Big news of the week….
We have our CDL A driver’s permit!!!
I thought I was grown up! I have life experience under my belt. So why did I feel like I was 15 again?! Heart pounding, head spinning….’please God help me pass!’ He did! 🙂 ~Hooper
