The Great Salt Lake
– June 28, 2017 –
Some days it just works out. We are mandated to take a 30 minute break in our first eight hours of being on duty.
Most of the time I try and find some place that will give me the ability to get out and walk that is not an asphalt truck stop parking lot. This day just happened to be a bit different. Not really a place for a walk, but definitely one with a nice view at just the right time.
This is the Great Salt Lake in Utah. I was able to watch the sun go down while not driving down the road, which is somewhat a rare occurrence. One of the perks we have is seeing sunrises and sunsets, not always at the best angle, but all are unique and beautiful.
