Bug Lives Matter

I wanted to address the wholesale slaughter of bugs by the trucking industry! With hundreds of thousands of trucks traveling the American roads the tens of millions of bugs savagely killed daily is shocking. What are we thinking??? How come somebody isn’t doing something about this travesty?

I mean do the bugs need more training? They should know better after watching all thier buddies get killed, but no, they choose the easy path and instead of staying in the forrest and avoiding a few obstacles, they decide on the easy path in life and fly right down the freeway.

Maybe we are the problem…instead of just buying Rainex bug remover windshield washer fluid and bug scraper blades we should get more training on avoiding these precious bugs. Maybe they need a champion…a representive of sorts…or maybe we need one too, think of the thousands of man hours we drivers spend washing these suicidal bugs of our windshields and trucks. Not to mention all the soap and washer fluid. Are they really suicidal or just stupid?

I have tried to ask several what they were thinking…alas I think they were in shock from the collision…or maybe too concerned with their body fluids leaking out to respond.

In closing I feel if we understood the plight of the poor bugs we would take steps to solve this tragedy. Maybe a multi million dollar government study should be conducted…peta could put in thier 2 cents worth and we could all buy bug credits. Kinda like carbon credits but stupider.

Is stupider even a word?
