Oklahoma Lightning Show
Driving across Oklahoma on I-40 the other night I encountered a SEVERE thunderstorm. Quite literally could have driven for a hundred miles without headlights due to the profound amount of lightning in the sky. After making it through the storm, I took an exit ramp and parked in a closed gas station facing the storm. Grabbed the camera and snapped some photos.
It is a bit more challenging trying to capture the lightning with a digital camera with the delay and not really taking the time to properly set up the camera specific for those shots. Mind you, this was at 3:30 in the morning.
So here for the sharing is what I captured. As typical, photos will not due the storm justice!
